Turn a broad community worry into a conversation that gets somewhere.

DEFINE THE CONVERSATION
- What is the issue, in one sentence?
- Who is affected, and whose perspective has not yet been heard?
- What should people understand or decide by the end?

PLAN PARTICIPATION
- Choose an accessible time and location.
- Invite people with different perspectives and explain the purpose in advance.
- Agree on respectful discussion and ask before recording or sharing anyone’s contribution.

KEEP A RECORD
- Note the questions raised, the areas of agreement and the points that remain uncertain.
- Separate direct observations from assumptions.
- Avoid including private details that are not needed for the agreed next step.

AGREE ON WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
- Write down a small, specific action, a willing point of contact and a date to check progress.
